Accidents Happen! - Spain x Reader

I've always been a clutz. It's been as long as I can remember, but according to my brothers, Ludwig and Gilbert, it's been even before that. Everytime I trip or stumble or just plain fall, Gilbert will laugh (after making sure I'm okay), and mention how it reminds him of one of the many times when I was a baby and blah, blah, blah. He likes to talk a lot. Ludwig and I usually tune him out after that.

Anyway, back to my clutziness. Today's my first day in high school and I'm terrified because I just know that my awkward limbs are going to come around and screw me over. But, don't worry friends, I have a plan!

"Sick?" Gilbert frowned as I swaddled myself in my blankets and nodded rapidly. "But it's your first day!" He was a senior, along with most of his friends, and he was so excited for me to come to school so he could tell anyone who would listen that I was his sister. That's what he did to Ludwig when he was a freshman.

I sighed dramatically, "I know, Gil, but I'm just...I'm not feeling well at all."

"Vell, at least let Luddy take your temperature!" Gilbert said, and I could see myself go pale. Gilbert leaned out of the room and yelled for our brother, and moments later, an already-ready Ludwig was standing there, perring in at me. "She says she's sick, Bruder." The albino informed him, and I nodded sagely as Ludwig peered at me with a questioning gaze. I knew he wasn't believing me, not one bit.

Knowing that I'd be able to convince a brick before I'd be able to convince Ludwig, I turned back to Prussia. I hated to do this to him, but I was not going to embarass myself in front of the entire school! "Big Bruder! Please?" I gave him my best puppy dog face and he bit his lip, trying to look away and deny me what I wanted but not being able to.

Ludwig glared at me, he knew what I was doing. "Y/n," he said in a chatising tone, "stop torturing our Bruder." I did as Ludwig asked (more like commanded), and then Ludwig turned to Gilbert. "Leave us for a minute, Gilbert. Ve need to talk." Gilbert nodded and exited, closing the door behind him. Ludwig turned back to me, a gentle frown on his face.

"Now, Y/n, vhy did Jou lie about being sick. Jou look healthy."

I let out a big sigh and flopped farther into my bed, grabbing my pillow and covering my face with it. "'Cause I'm a big clutz!" I said, though it was muffled. Ludwig took away the pillow and motioned for me to repeat it, so I did, with a huff. "It's 'cause I'm a big clutz, und I don't vant to embarass myself!"

Ludwig gained a look of understanding, nodding as he came and embraced me. "Jou vill be okay, Schwester. I vas vorried miene first day, auch. But I vent und now I have Feli and Kiku as Fruends."

"You complain about Feli at least once a day." I deadpanned, and he blushed sheepishly before shrugging.

"Vell, das vhat happens vhen Jou have Fruends." He told me, hugging me again in the sibling way that was special between us.

Suddenly Gilbert bursted into the room with a big smile on his face, and he gasped before pouting. "Vhat the hell!? Vhy vas I not invited to the huggle fest?" We both shrugged and I motioned him over, causing him to tackle us right off the bed. I let out a squeal as we landed on the floor, me obviously being on the bottom of the German siblings' dog pile.

My alarm went off and I gasp, trying to push the boys off me. "Guys-ugh, guys-oof! Move! I have to get ready or I'll be late!" They quickly moved and left, leaving me to get dressed and prepared for my first day of school.

As we got to school, Ludwig's friends called him over and he looked to me and Gilbert awkwardly. I shrugged and pushed him towards them, "Go have an awesome day, Bruder!" Gilbert stared at me, flabbergasted.

"Das miene vord!"

"Vell, I didn't see it reserved for you in the dictionary!" I told him, sticking my tongue out as we continued to walk. Of course, me being me, this it the part where I tripped over my laces on my shoes and went arm-sprialing, mouth open in shock, skirt flying up, face first into the ground. I let out a shriek as I braced myself for the ground's stony impact. But it didn't come, and so I peeked open my eyes to see that I was a mere inch from the ground.

I jumped up and cheered by pumping my fists into the air, causing me to punch the guy who saved my face in his face. I gasped as he groaned, and I could hear Gilbert laughing his ass off in the background.

"Miene Gott, I'm so sorry!" I yelped, trying to apologize to him over the sounds of everyone around me laughing.

He waved it off and moved his hands from his face, revealing the prettiest face I've ever seen in my life. He had bright green eyes and beautifully tanned skin with a bright smile that made me blush harder that Ludwig when Feli said something embarrassing. And....- Oh my gosh, his nose was bleeding! I quickly grabbed a tissue out of my bag and handed it to him, him giving me a gracious smile as he stuffed it into his nose.

"Gracias, chica!" He told me, smiling even bright than before. I just blushed again before remembering that he saved my face.

"Oh, uh, um, thank you, for, uh saving my face! I'm so clumsy!" I laughed awkwardly as i held out my hand for him to shake. He grabbed it, but instead of shaking it, he kissed it like a gentleman.

"Clumsy, is it? Well, I'm Antonio." Now my face was scarlet, and I used my other hand to cover my blush. He offered to show me around the school and led me inside by holding my hand.

Of course, because he was gorgeous, I was completely oblivious to my fuming brothers, both being held back by their friends as they tried to run and strangle Antonio.
